22: The Rebel Flesh / The Almost People

Yes things can go downhill from Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS (which I reviewed yesterday)... here's my review (in 50 words) of The Rebel Flesh and The Almost People...

 

THE REBEL FLESH / THE ALMOST PEOPLE (2011, Doc 11 w/ Amy & Rory, Doctor Who)

This mediocre effort does have a good central idea, I'll give Matt Graham that. The idea of human duplicates doing all the dirty work is interesting, and this allows for some FANTASTIC and yucky special effects, but the attempt at emotion is ineffective and the story quickly becomes boring and is slow-paced. 2/10. 50 words.
